Jaroslav Hašek /1883 to 1923/ spent the last part of his life in Lipnice nad Sázavou and its surroundings. He wrote three of the four parts of his famous novel The Fate of the Good Soldier Švejk in the U Česká Koruny inn. The writer is buried at the Lipnice cemetery and...
