Lipnice nad Sazavou

Lipnice nad Sázavou was created as a subcastle of the massive Gothic Lipnice castle, which was founded in 1310. The settlement was elevated to a city in 1370 by Emperor Charles IV, who granted Lipnice city rights and gave the townspeople the right to brew beer.
