Monument to the national eavesdropping in the flooded quarries around Lipnice nad Sázavou

In the flooded granite quarries around Lipnice nad Sázavou, sculptor Radomír Dvořák and a group of young stonemasons created several reliefs representing a giant ear, mouth and eyes and head.
 
Bretschneider's ear - was the first to be revealed from the reliefs /in June 2005/ and was named after the surname of the secret policeman from the novel The Good Soldier Švejk by the writer Jaroslav Hašek. The relief is supposed to symbolize…
