Polná - church of St. Barbara

Church of St. Barbory ​​is a cemetery baroque building. Built in the years 1720 - 1725 on the plan of the Greek cross. The ceiling frescoes with branched iconography were painted by J. Czeregetti from Chrudim. The altars were carved by Václav Morávek (pupil of the Prague sculptor FM Brokoff), who also made the Plague Column - the Holy Trinity sculpture on Hus Square.
