Tourists also come to Polná for the Hilsneriáda

At the end of January of this year, Czech Television broadcast a two-part film by director Viktor Polesný "Crime in Polná", which took viewers through one of the most watched affairs of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the so-called "hilsneriad". The Hilsner affair attracted the attention of the whole of Europe for a certain time and caused the strongest wave of anti-Semitism in the 19th century on Czech territory.
