THE CITY OF POLNA

Polná - a picturesque town with a rich history, located on the border of Bohemia and Moravia - was probably founded at the beginning of the 13th century. We know the oldest written report from 1242 in the donation deed of Jan of Polná. Probably in II. in the middle of the 13th century, the village was upgraded to a town.
