The Halámky sand pit is located about 1 km north of Nová Ves nad Lužnicí and about 7 km southeast of Suchdol nad Lužnicí. Swimming is not officially allowed in the sandpit, but the water here is clean and there are beautiful sandy beaches. There is also the possibility of fishing in the sandpit.
