New Lipnický pond

Nový Lipnický rybník is located approx. 1,5 km east of the village of Lipnice. The pond is also called Podřezanský. This Nový Lipnický pond has an unusual brown color because it is of the peat type, into which water flows from the nearby nature reserve Červené Blato. The water is warm due to its darker color. This is a breeding pond of Rybářství Třeboň, which is also a recreational pond, especially along the shores in the northern part of the pond, there are many recreational cottages and cottages.
