The ruins of Perštejn Castle stand on a wooded hill above the village of the same name in Chomutovské in the Ústí Region. Remains of the castle palace, a round tower and the remains of farm buildings have been preserved from the castle. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
History
The castle was probably built in the second half of the 2th century. The first truly documented owner of the castle was Bedřich from Šumburk in 13. In 1344, the castle was conquered…
