Jose II. he was king of Bohemia and also emperor of the Holy Roman Empire in the years 1780 – 1790. He was a very popular monarch among the Czech people. He pushed through a number of reforms and abolished serfdom. Many monuments and memorials were built in his honor in Bohemia.
