Egerberk or Lestkov – a striking ruin of one of the oldest castles in the region

The nearby Ohře (Eger) river gave its name to the newly built Egerberk castle at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. According to the nearby village, the castle is sometimes called Lestkov. The ruins of Egerberk Castle are easily accessible by hiking trails from Klášterec nad Ohří, the village of Lestkov and also from Rašovice.
