Odry - execution house
An execution house, or also a city police station with a prison or a prison cell. The warden of the prison - biřic lived here and the first mention is from 1556. Part of the prison was a torture chamber in the basement or a chapel with an altar dedicated to the Savior. Around 1850, there were 5 cells in the execution house, but the executions were carried out in Opava, because the Oder did not have its own executioner.
