The fountain - the dominant feature of Masaryk Square in Odary
The town of Odra lies on both sides of the Moravian-Silesian border, its Masaryk Square is embellished by a landmark - a charming neoclassical fountain, built in 1897. It was created by the sculptor Emil Zimmermann, a native of Odra. On a sandstone plinth stands a vase on which sits a child sprinkling a fish. A high stream of water shoots out of her mouth.
