From the ruins to the castle and to the lookout tower.

I drove into a nice landscape around the Ploučnice river. From the station in Františkov nad Ploučnicí, I walked down the river. I went through the entire village and at the end of it there is a bridge over Ploučnica, which leads directly under the ruins of the castle. Behind the bridge there is an information board about the history of the castle and from there an unmarked path begins to the top of the rocky promontory, where the remains of Ostrý Castle have been preserved.
