Nymburk is located in Central Bohemia, east of Prague. The city is located on the right bank of the Elbe at the confluence with the river Mrlina. The surroundings of the city are formed by the almost flat terrain of the Česká Tabula. There is a small sports airport on the other bank of the Elbe south of the city.
