Nymburk-waterworks "Turkish tower"

In the southern historical part of the city of Nymburk, 100 m south of Přemyslovů Square, there is an old waterworks known as the "Turkish Tower" near the rest of the city walls. Originally, a wooden tower with a waterworks stood on this site, which collapsed in 1597. Therefore, the city councilors decided to build a new, brick one.
