Mšeno

The Mšeno dam on the Mšenské stream in the cadastre of the town of Jablonec nad Nisou was built between 1906 and 1909. The impetus for the construction of the dam was the catastrophic floods at the end of the 19th century, especially the flood of July 30, 1897.

The purpose of the waterworks:
- Protection of the area under the dam and under the profiles of the inflow objects into the tunnels against floods.
