Jablonec nad Nisou - new town hall

The new town hall building is located in the upper (northern) part of Mírové náměstí. It was built between 1931 and 1932, according to the design of the young Liberec architect Karel Winter. His functionalist design won among 177 designs by architects from all over Central Europe. The dominant element of the entire building is the corner 51-meter-high clock tower. The building belongs to the top works of Czech interwar architecture.
