A milestone in Genoa

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
On the southern edge of Genoa, today the city district of Litvínov, near Zámeček, behind the abandoned railway line stands a milestone from 1841. Previously, an important land route from Bohemia to Saxony led here. Today, an unused and damaged road to Horní Jiřetín leads here.
In the past, milestones were located along important roads and indicated the distance in miles from the starting point.
