This location was originally the property of the Abbot Benedictines, until the destruction of their monastery by the Hussites in 1421. On September 21, 1436, Emperor Sigismund of Luxembourg signed all the properties of the said monastery to Diviša Bořek of Miletínek for his faithful services. This document is also the first mention of Křičena. At that time, the village thus became part of the Kunetic goods, which still belonged to Diviš's son in 1463...
