The first mention of the village dates from 1372, when it belonged to the Opatovice monastery. In 1436, Emperor Sigismund of Luxembourg donated the village of Diviš to Bořka from Miletínek. In 1486, the village belonged to Jan Otec z Chrast, lord of Rohoznica and Křičeni. In 1491, the village was sold by Mikuláš from Chrast to Vilém from Pernštejn.
