The well, which is located in a deep gorge on the old "Limestone Road", along which limestone raw material was transported, is now flooded and there is a nice Limestone Lake. This route is often considered to be the old Libyan trade route, which crossed the border of Bohemia and Moravia not far from the ford over the Sázava.
