If you pass through the village of Starý Jičín, its picturesque square is embellished by a landmark - a beautiful sandstone fountain from 1856. It is decorated with a metal sculpture - a statue of the Guardian Angel from 1836, standing on a stylized column in the northeastern part of the square. Next to the historical fountain, a memorial tree - the Freedom Tree, which was planted in 1980 in honor of the independent Czechoslovak state, will attract attention.
