Two villas of the Huckel family

While walking through the Upper Suburbs of Nové Jičín, passers-by will notice two of the four villas that seem to have fallen out of sight - the Huckel family, standing on Revoluční street. The mirror-symmetrical residences were built in the years 1870-72, and the sons of the factory worker Huckel lived in them. The impressive buildings are dominated by two corner towers, and the villas are surrounded by a large garden. The Huckel brothers had their villas built on the eastern slope…
