Devil's Rock above Suchý Dol

On the edge of the Ticháček Forest above Suchý Dol stands a lonely rock tower called Čertova skála. It is made up of coarse-grained arkose sandstones of the Jizera Formation of the middle Turonian. In contrast to the typical Adrspaš quartz sandstones, these contain feldspar admixtures, which cause a different coloration of the rock.
