Branka - mountain saddle

A saddle of great communication importance in Hrubé Jeseník between Jestřábí vrch (960m) and Homolí (1209m) in the Dlouhé strání and Mravenečník group. The easiest access route from Vernířovice, or Kosařů along the asphalt forest road, which ends here. In doing so, it passes by the Zadní Hutisko natural monument, a deposit of groats rock, which was used to line blast furnaces, e.g. in the ironworks in Sobotín.
