History
An interesting Gothic-Renaissance fortress is located in the village of Boskovštejn in the Znojmo region in the South Moravian region. The fortress is a free-standing building with a rectangular plan with corner bastions, cylindrical on the ground floor and polygonal on the upper floor. Remnants of Renaissance sgraffito rustication have been preserved on the facades of the fortress.
