Černín - Church of St. Jacob the Greater
The village of Černín is located in a hilly area surrounded by forests and is an ancient village, which was first mentioned in 1131. Sometime in the first half of the 1th century, a fortress with a tower was founded in Černín by the local lordly family as a residence for the lower nobility. In the turbulent times of the 13th century, the function of the fortress as a residence ceased and the buildings were converted into a rectory with a monastery and a hospital.
