Jevišovická dam
Jevišovická dam is the oldest dam reservoir in Moravia. It was built in 1894-97 to protect against floods and as a water reservoir for the sugar factory in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. The brick dam is 25,5 m high and 122 m long, the water area measures 14,5 ha. Due to the time and method of construction, it became an object of Central European importance and was declared a technical monument.
