Concrete observation tower on Městská hora in Beroun

The lookout tower on Městská hora in Beroun is a superstructure of the municipal reservoir built in 1936. The construction company Jelínek and sons came up with this interesting idea. Arguing about the price followed, as the city had other ideas.
 
But in the end, a good thing succeeded and the 14-meter-high reinforced concrete building, including the staircase, was realized.
 
During the socialist era, no one cared much about construction...
