If you follow the yellow sign from Běšin railway station to the village, you will first pass through the newer part of Běšin. You will then cross the Drnový potok and after a short section along the bank of the stream, the surface of the Nové rybník will appear. More than half of it was occupied by a lesser duck and a family of swans settled on the remaining part. A little further south is the Ostrovský pond. It was named after a small island.
