The lime tree grows in the lower part of the village, near the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. I estimate its age at 400 to 450 years. On the tree is a rather unsightly and shabby board with an inscription from 1924. In the upper part of the board is the head of the warlord and below it the inscription: "In memory of the 500th anniversary of the death of Jan Žižka from Trocnov 1424 - 1924.". Under the linden tree are the torments of God that cry out for repair. It is strange that the linden tree is not memorable…
