The ruins of the Kunžvart castle near Strážné in Šumava

The ruins of the Kunžvart castle can be found on the eastern slope of the Strážný mountain, which has an altitude of 1115 m above sea level. From the town of Strážný, the ruins are located approx. 1,5 km northwest. The castle was built around the 14th century to protect the Golden Path trade route.
