The Jewish cemetery is located northwest of the square, on the outside of the original city walls, and the entrance is located from Michalská Street. It was founded in the first half of the 17th century and the area it occupies today is almost 1400m2. It is surrounded by a high wall and around 250 tombstones have been preserved here.
