The castle was mentioned already in the 9th century, rebuilt into a castle. Beautiful painting decoration of the courtyard and interiors. The castle is connected with Petr Vok. In the castle you can see a beautiful Renaissance stove, coffered ceiling with rich painting decoration. After touring the castle, you can visit the Alšova South Bohemian Gallery in the former castle brewery and the Vladimír Preclík museum in the castle cellar.
