The original Jewish cemetery was in a forest called Borek, the place was fenced off. In 1892, Prince Ferdinand Kinský bought another piece of land. - The oldest preserved tombstones came from the 17th century. Jews from far away areas were buried here. The cemetery belonged to the funeral brotherhood for Zlonice and the surrounding area, which was founded in 1803 by Natan Fanta.
