Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

The administrative town of Zlonice, north of Slané in the district of Kladno, is dominated by the monumental Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, standing on a terrace on a slope above a nondescript castle. The originally medieval sanctuary was completely rebuilt between 1727 and 35 by FM Kaňka and JF Hübner, allegedly according to the plans of KI Dienzenhofer at the expense of the Kinsky Counts.
