Děčín Castle and blooming rose garden

Děčín Castle can be found above the confluence of the Elbe and Ploučnice. The current form of the castle is the work of the Thun-Hohenstein family, which held the Děčín estate in the years 1628–1932. The Thunes carried out two major reconstructions of the castle. The first, highly baroque reconstruction took place in the 17th century.
