Bechyně Castle
The Renaissance castle is a distinctive landmark of the town of Bechyně in the Tábor region in the South Bohemian Region. The castle stands on a rocky promontory above the mouth of the river Smutná do Lužnice. A castle with a prismatic tower encloses a rectangular courtyard. The courtyard facades are decorated with wall paintings from the 80s, which have no analogues in our country.
