Karlova Koruna Castle Park

The castle in Chlumec nad Cidlinou, including the surrounding park, was built between 1721 and 1723. The architectural design of the castle grounds was created by the prominent Baroque architect Giovanni Santini-Aichl, and the main builder was František Maxmilián Kaňka. The castle residence of Charles Crown was built to order as a summer residence for the supreme chancellor of the Czech Kingdom, František Ferdinand Kinský (1668–1741).…
