Vysočany - wooden church of St. Markets with a wooden belfry

The village of Vysočany, which was first mentioned in writing in 1364, is located approximately 2 km south of the center of Nové Bydžov. Already in the mentioned year 1364, a wooden church stood on the site, which was dedicated to St. Margaret. At the end of the 17th century, a new church was built, also made of wood. In 1770, the southern chapel was added. The church is plastered, so at first glance it looks like a stone church.
