St. Lukáš near Hamburg

Statues of St. Wenceslas, St. John of Nepomuck, or St. The Virgin Mary can be seen quite often in our countryside. Statue of St. Lukáš, protector of cattle, only exceptionally. One statue of St. Lukáš can be found by the road between Humburky and Nový Bydžov. The work consists of a decorated plinth on which St. Lukáš with a young cattle. According to the inscription on the plinth of the monument, the statue was erected by the Lhotto family in 1858.
