Vestec
The original name of the village "Vesce" is supposed to be derived from the name for a small village. According to popular tradition, in ancient times, a wooden fortress stood in the place of No. 1, around which a village was later built up gradually. Unofficially, it is stated that the first mention comes from 1415, when, according to the Česká Skalice chaplain and regional historian Václav Šrám, Hynek from Dubé is mentioned in Heřmanice and Vestec.…
