Váppenná - a monument to the victims of wars

A small hill on the road from Vápenná to Žulová is decorated with an impressive monument to the victims of the wars. Because its appearance is in the form of a stone obelisk approx. 9 m high, it is actually a peculiar monument of the local region of stonemasons, after all, the area around Vápenná and Žulová is full of dozens of defunct but still active limestone and granite quarries.
The original monument in the same place was created in the 20s by Josef Obeth from Velká Kraš (unveiled in 1925)...
