The first mention of Újezdec dates from 1416, when it belonged to the Chvalkovic fortress, which after its reconstruction in the 16th century we call it a castle. Its name arose from the fact that it was bounded by a district and was initially called Oujezdec. The first documented owner of Újezdek was Jan from Chvalkovice.
