The settlement of Úblo is a local part of the village of Brumovice and lies west of the village. To the northeast, near Úbla, is the settlement of Pocheň and the reservoir of the same name. The first written mention of the settlement of Úblo dates from 1377, and in this period it was part of the property of the Vratnov fortress.
