Vartnov-castle
Vartnov Castle is located in Northern Moravia (former Silesia), about 6 km south of the town of Krnov, on the northern edge of the Pocheň settlement, a local part of the Brumovice village. The castle was founded as a manor on a rocky hill above the river Čižina, probably in 1342 by the lords of Vartnov. The castle was protected by a rampart and a wide moat.
