Tuskov

Wooded hill on the edge of the castle park. The remains of the ramparts of the bastions from 1469, when the army of Jiří z Poděbrady besieged the Konopiště castle, have been preserved here. 
From the meadow at the edge of the forest, there is a nice view of the Castle, and for this reason this place was chosen for the ceremonial end of the hunt and the slaughter of the hunted game. These hunts are organized mainly for foreign hunters.
This part of the park is called Tuškov after the hill. Is here…
