The castle park at Konopiště is really extensive. It is one of our largest and most valuable landscape parks. On an area of ​​340 hectares, there is a forest of native trees and various exotic trees. This includes the extensive castle pond, in the valley below the castle there is a rose garden with a greenhouse, there is also a nature reserve and pheasantry. In 2002, together with the Castle, it was declared a national cultural monument.
