Rose garden and greenhouse in Konopiště

The rose garden is a kind of center of the Konopišť park, which consists of a pond and a rather extensive forest. The garden was established at the same time as the park. In 1906-13, 7000 bushes and 1500 rose trees of about 200 varieties were planted in the Konopišti garden. Later, however, the plantings disappeared and became deserted.
